On March 5, Consul Clayton Stanger spoke with MBA students studying at the IDRAC International School of Management business school. Topics covered during the 2 hour open forum were: the TTIP accord process, the U.S. midterm elections, the economy and how energy prices are stimulating consumption in the U.S., exchange rates and how a lower Euro helps EU exports, health care, and the education system in U.S. The Consul also compared his experience in the private sector with that in the public sector and discussed the main cultural differences. Students were particularly interested in how the TTIP could help small and medium sized businesses thus helping the French economy and their prospects for finding work after graduation.
