Public Affairs Specialist Eva Prévost introduced Dr. Sandra Babcock, a Cornell professor who currently holds the Fulbright/Toqueville chair at the University of Caen. In the presence of the Caen Law School Dean and the Fulbright Commission Director, Dr. Babcock presented her inaugural lecture on human rights legislation before an audience of forty law students and faculty members. In her introductory remarks, Eva Prévost mentioned the commitment of the United States to human rights around the world and lauded the work of the Fulbright Commission in ensuring U.S.-France academic ties.
