
The President of France Fulbright Alumni participated in the European Network of American Alumni Associations (ENAM) conference held on July 11-12, 2014 in Tbilisi, with the support of the U.S. Embassy. On the evening of July 11th, Ambassador Richard Norland hosted a reception in honor of the 4th Annual ENAM conference. The next day, the conference was held in downtown Tbilisi on the theme of “Advancing American Values in Europe: Successes and Challenges.” Ambassador Norland addressed the conference and spoke of Georgia’s growing importance in the European community and on the international stage. The conference was hosted by the U.S. Government Exchange Program Alumni Association of Georgia (EPAG) and supported by the U.S. Embassy in Tbilisi. Participants came from Georgia as well as 11 other countries around Europe. Massimo Cugussi, the head of ENAM, addressed the participants, as did Andro Dadiani, the head of EPAG, and several members of the Georgian government and representatives of civil society.
