Courses in Aix focus upon French language and literature, the arts, and cross-cultural communication. The Marseille program focuses on international relations, immigrant identities, Arabic language and culture, and includes a week of on-site study in Morocco.

Opened in 1979, English-speaking students are accepted in the International Section which consists of approximately 1,200 students, plus 80 in a primary school bilingual program for 6 to 10 year olds.
