Event: Lockdown Measures for Paris and Other Regions in France

  • Paris is among sixteen regions in lockdown for at least one month, starting midnight, March 19, 2021. In these regions, there is a strict limit on trips outside the home, and every trip must be accompanied by an attestation form. You may leave your residence for commuting to and from essential work or family activities, medical appointments, judicial appointments, walking a pet, shopping for essential items, limited participation in religious services, or other limited reasons. You may exercise within 10km of your home.
  • The Government of France has imposed a stay-at-home curfew, which, beginning March 20, 2021, is now from 19:00 (7 p.m.) to 6:00 a.m. for all of France.

Actions to Take:

  • Consult the CDC website for the most up-to-date information on the disease.
  • Dial 15 for emergency services in France if you have severe symptoms such as difficulty breathing.  Do not go directly to an emergency department, doctor’s office, or clinic.
