
The Inno’Cup Junior science competition wrapped up on July 9 in Grenoble with the announcement of the three top teams including the winners of the grand prize trip to Silicon Valley. 14 teams were selected at their respective regional finals and were provided travel and housing while attending the final judging in Grenoble on July 8th and 9th. The winning idea by two teenage girls presenting “Connected Glasses,” was a brilliant application of biomimicry that applied the concept of a bat’s sonar coupled with gps-guided vocal directions in a pair of eyeglasses for human navigation, to help the blind.
