The IVLP Gold Stars’ Tour: Alumni Connecting the World is a special initiative designed to emphasize the direct results and the overall impact of the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP). This special initiative highlights contributions of IVLP alumni in their home communities and re-connects alumni with U.S. “citizen diplomats” and counterparts.
In 2015, French alumnus Frederic Callens participated in the IVLP Gold Tour. Frédéric Callens has been at the heart of the French government’s efforts to fight discrimination for years. He works for the National Agency for Social Cohesion and Equal Opportunity (ACSE), which was reorganized in 2014 under the title General Commission for the Equality of Territories (CGET), under the services of the Prime Minister.
