Message for U.S. Citizens – U.S. Embassy Paris, France U.S. Embassy and Consulates General in France Closed December 24-25

In accordance with the Executive Order signed by President Donald J. Trump, the U.S. Embassy in Paris, the U.S. Consulates General in Marseille and Strasbourg, and the American Presence Posts in Rennes, Lyon, and Bordeaux will be closed to the public on December 24, 2019 in addition to the December 25 holiday.  The Embassy will reopen for services on December 26.

U.S. citizens requiring emergency assistance may contact the Embassy at 01 43 12 22 22 (calling within France) or (011 33) 1 43 12 22 22 (dialing from the United States).

If you had a U.S. passport, citizenship, and notary appointment scheduled for December 24, you should have received an email with instructions on how to reschedule your appointment.

All visa appointments previously scheduled for December 24 have been rescheduled for December 23.  For additional information please click here.
