As part of Black History Month, APP Rennes’ Economic and Commercial Specialist Eric Beaty gave a talk on African-Americans’ struggle for civil rights to members of the France-Etats-Unis Association in Caen on March 4, 2015. Beaty began with Frederick Douglass and continued into the 21st century. In his remarks, he emphasized the respect for diversity in the United States.
