A selection of 3 key events for the United States of America at the Council of Europe in 2016 :
- Adoption of the evaluation report on the prevention of corruption in respect of parliamentarians, judges and prosecutors in the United States of America by the Council of Europe anti-corruption body (GRECO).
- 4th voluntary contribution of $250,000 (225,000 Euros) by the United States to the Council of Europe to support efforts under the Budapest Convention on Cybercrime.
- Celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Observer Status for the United States of America at the Council of Europe.
