U. S. Consulate General Marseille, France: Suspension of In-Person Consular Services from May through July 2019

The U.S. Consulate General in Marseille will Suspend In-Person Consular Services from May through July 2019 to Complete Security Upgrades to the Building.

U.S. citizens requiring in-person consular services during this time frame, including passport applications and notarial services, are asked to make an appointment at the U.S. Embassy in Paris.  Post anticipates resuming normal consular operations in August 2019.  We apologize for the inconvenience.

To minimize the impact of this suspension in services, the U.S. Consulate General Marseille and U.S. Paris Consular Sections are planning passport service days in Bordeaux and in Lyon.  Instructions on how to make an appointment for offsite services will be posted to the U.S. Embassy website on March 15, 2019.  Additional offsite dates will follow.  Please check our social media and future messages to U.S. citizens for details.

U.S. citizens requiring emergency assistance may contact the Embassy at 01 43 12 22 22 (telephone in France) or (011 33) 1 43 12 22 22 (telephone from the United States).
