World AIDS Day 2016
LEADERSHIP. COMMITMENT. IMPACT.
December 1, 2016
Thirty-five years ago, since the beginning of the AIDS epidemic, we have made tremendous progress to address HIV/AIDS in Africa and around the world with far greater urgency and action. However, there is still much work to be done.
On World AIDS Day 2016, join the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) in celebrating the theme “Leadership. Commitment. Impact.” In the spirit of this theme, we are proud to share a variety of new announcements and resources, highlighting the progress we have made together and reaffirming our shared commitment to ending the epidemic.
